Ken and Sherri Nahan
For 38 years we owned Nahan Galleries in New York, New Orleans and Tokyo. We represented many world renowned artists. We sold their paintings, published their graphics, distributed their art works worldwide, and acted as their agent, dealer and confidant.
The New Orleans Gallery, opened in 1960 and brought to the city one man exhibitions by many important International Artists. These included cataloged shows for Chagall, Miro, Hunderwasser, Rufino Tomayo, Henry Moore, and many others.
In 1997 we thought we had retired. However, our visions of golf courses and fishing vacations soon gave way to visions of art and antiques. Patinae, the “fine finish”, turned into a new beginning.
