The Carborundum engravings of James Coignard are individually hand printed and inked on hand made paper which is approximately 1/4" in thickness.  They are rich in three-dimensional texture and color.  Details include hand stenciling of letters and geometric lines - a Coignard "signature" to those who know his work.  Technically, graphic works by Coignard are a combination of old-fashioned craftsmanship and modern ingenuity.
